The Seaqual Initiative, a non-profit organization dedicated to addres- sing marine pollution and promoting sustainability, is at the forefront of this effort. Specializing in the collection and recycling of marine plastic waste, particularly from oceans and coastal areas, the initiative produces SEA- QUAL® YARN, a polyester derived in part from marine waste and post-consumer PET from land sources. Also, the fabric features water-repellent properties.
